Dine 'al fresco' on the downtown mall. Stroll the grounds of Mr. Jefferson's University. Drive for 45 minutes and you are in Shenandoah National Park. Drive for and hour and a half and you are in Washington DC. Although it's a cliché to say it, cities just don't get any better than this!
